Ingredients
Beef
- 1½ lbs Credence Farms flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
Vegetables
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
Noodles
- 12 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
Sauce
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ cup beef broth
Directions
1. Prepare the Beef
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
- Toss with cornstarch and black pepper.
- Let rest for 10 minutes.
2. Cook the Noodles
- Boil noodles until just tender.
- Drain and reserve.
3. Sear the Beef
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add oil and cook beef in batches for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the Vegetables
- Add onions, peppers, carrots, garlic, and ginger.
- Stir fry for 3–4 minutes.
5. Build the Sauce
- Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire, brown sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth.
- Pour into wok and bring to a simmer.
6. Finish
- Return beef to the wok.
- Add noodles and toss until coated.
- Cook 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
7. Garnish
- Top with green onions and fresh cilantro if desired.
