Garlic Herb Butter Sirloin Steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 Credence Farms grass-fed sirloin steaks
  • 2 tbsp grass-fed butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:

    • Remove the sirloin steaks from the fridge and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
    • Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Sear the Steak:

    • Heat a cast-iron skillet or heavy pan over medium-high heat.
    • Add olive oil, then place the steaks in the hot pan.
    • Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
  3. Add Garlic Butter:

    • Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter, garlic, and rosemary/thyme to the pan.
    • Spoon the melted butter over the steaks for 1-2 minutes to infuse flavor.
  4. Rest & Serve:

    • Remove steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
    • Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a nutrient-dense, farm-to-table meal.
