Here’s a Hearty Credence Farms Beef Stew recipe—perfect for a nourishing meal!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs Credence Farms ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup peas (optional, added at the end)

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the Beef & Aromatics:

    • Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
    • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
    • Remove excess fat if needed.
    • Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Build the Flavor:

    • Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
    • Add carrots, celery, and potatoes, mixing well.
  3. Simmer the Stew:

    • Pour in beef broth and diced tomatoes (if using).
    • Add the bay leaf and bring to a gentle boil.
    • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Finishing Touches:

    • Add peas in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
    • Adjust seasoning as needed.
    • Remove bay leaf before serving.
