Perfectly Grilled Prime Blue Ribeye
Featuring Credence Farms Grass-Fed Prime Blue Ribeye
Ingredients:
- 1 Credence Farms Prime Blue Ribeye (about 1.5 inches thick)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 2 tbsp grass-fed butter
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Steak:
- Remove the ribeye from the fridge 30-45 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
- Pat dry with a paper towel and rub with olive oil.
- Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
-
Preheat the Grill:
- Heat your grill to high heat (450-500°F) for a good sear.
- If using charcoal, let the coals turn white-hot before grilling.
-
Grill the Steak:
- Place the ribeye on the hot grill and sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for desired doneness).
- Avoid flipping too often to allow a nice crust to form.
-
Butter Baste for Flavor:
- In the last minute of grilling, place the butter, garlic, and rosemary/thyme on top of the steak.
- Let the butter melt and infuse the steak with rich flavor.
-
Rest & Serve:
- Remove from the grill and let it rest 5-10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice and enjoy with roasted vegetables or a fresh farm salad.
Credence Farms Tip: For an extra smoky flavor, use a wood pellet grill or add a few mesquite wood chips to the fire.
